Director Emeritus TOD Innovation Lab and lead XR Consultant, Israel

Devora Mason is the Director of the ToD Innovation Lab at the Tower of David Museum where she is leading their digital technology strategy focused on enhancing the visitor experience through the development and piloting of cutting edge AR/VR (Augmented and Virtual Reality) technology and implementation of strategic accessibility tech solutions within highly challenging locations including archaeological and preserved sites, cities and visitor’s centers. In the capacity of her career she has participated in many global competitions, accelerators and programs including being a finalist at 43North, Mass Challenge alumni, IBM Alpha Zone, 8200 Alumni club, SXSW Pediatric pitch, Data Natives Tel Aviv, Edtech Israel, Cube, Fi-C3, Ramat-Gan Smart Cities, Disability Tech International Women’s Forum, CEATEC Israel delegation to Tokyo, Nefesh B’Nefesh Tech Talks, The Tech Talk Show, Global JDC Social Welfare Conference in Berlin, ICOM Israel 2017 and more. She was one of the first bloggers for the “The Times of Israel” which is today a leading, world-class, online publication, where she writes about social issues, politics, women’s issues and life in Jerusalem. She prides herself on being a single mom of five and on providing mentoring and support to startups and women in executive roles. She has been filmed for many online publications the most recent being a documentary produced by Beijing’s Qilin Productions, focusing on high tech leaders in Israel. Devora is driven by Tikkun Olam and a passion for Jerusalem and feels blessed to be actively involved in the development of Jerusalem’s tech ecosystem.
